Harrold Financial Planning Limited is an Independent Financial Adviser and will act on your behalf in advising you on products and services that are available to you.
We offer products from the whole market for investments, pension and mortgages.
We offer products from a range of insurers for term assurance, critical illness cover, income protection and private medical insurance.
We offer products from a limited number of insurers for accident sickness and unemployment cover, and building and contents cover. Please ask for details of the insurers we use.
Statement of Policy on Data Protection Act 1998:
Harrold Financial Planning Limited operates in the financial services sector where data handling and confidentiality are key issues. Our business primarily involves handling personal data, which is confidential to our clients. Your personal data will be treated in strict confidence and will only be disclosed by us in limited circumstances, for example to product providers in the course of implementing our advice, or to meet legal or regulatory requirements including fraud prevention measures.
The information required to complete any proposal form shall be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We will only collect such details as are required to enable us to fulfil our obligation to implement your instruction and, where appropriate, provide suitable advice and to ensure that our recommendations fit with your client circumstances. Please note that the information we ask for is necessary and without it we may not be able to advise you fully due to the operation of the rules of the Financial Services Authority.
Please note that in some cases personal data, including your bank account details may be transmitted electronically to product providers to facilitate the issue of policies and other documents.
We may use your contact details to let you know about other opportunities which we believe might be of interest to you. Please note that we may contact you by telephone. Information may be used to conduct statistical analysis and surveys but, should this happen, you would not be identified personally.
